Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance is available through external agencies to assist with the payment of NCBC registration fees. In order to apply for Financial Assistance, proceed through the NCBC online registration process as normal. When selecting the age group to register in, select the 'Financial Assistance' program for the appropriate age group. You will be required to make a registration deposit of $50. Once you have registered, your spot is reserved for the 2018/2019 Season. You then will be contacted by the Registrar for information about applying for external Financial Assistance. If you are approved Financial Assistance, your deposit will be refunded if the amount received exceeds what is owed to NCBC. If the amount received is not sufficient, you will owe NCBC the difference.

Financial Assistance Options:

KidSport Calgary

For financial assistance for basketball registration fees, the KidSportTM Society of Calgary may be able to help.  They have been providing assistance to children in need for the past 15 years. They work closely with families and local sport clubs, such as NCBC, to help pay up to $325 for registration fees.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart

An alternative financial assistance is the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program.  They are “dedicated to removing barriers, so children can participate in organized sport and recognition.”  Their VISION is to “equip kids for life, because participation in organized sport and recreation increases a child’s chance for success in life.”
